Terms and Conditions

Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and the services offered by West Covina Sunrooms & Patios, a sunroom contractor in West Covina, CA. By using the site, calling us or asking for an estimate, you agree to these terms.
If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. Once you hire us, the written contract for your job governs that work, and it wins wherever it differs from this page.
What we offer
We design, build and remodel sunrooms, screen rooms, patio enclosures and patio covers for homes in West Covina and the cities around it. Start at our home page for the full list of services, or read our About page to learn who we are.
What you read here is general information about our work. It isn't a promise that a particular design, product or price fits your house. We can only say that after we've seen the site and you've signed a written contract.
Estimates and pricing
We offer free on-site estimates, with no obligation to hire us. An estimate is our best figure for the work, based on what we can see and measure during the visit and on what you tell us you want.
Prices can change if the scope changes, if you choose different materials, if material costs rise before you sign, or if we find conditions we couldn't see during the estimate, such as damaged framing or a slab that won't carry the new room. Any change to the price or scope after you sign is put in writing, and we need your approval before we do the extra work.
Prices and descriptions on this website are for general information only. They aren't offers, and they don't bind either of us.
Scheduling, delays and cancellation
We set a start date with you once the contract is signed and any permits are in hand. Start and finish dates are estimates, because weather, permit and inspection timing, material deliveries and hidden conditions can move them.
We'll let you know as soon as we can if a date has to change. We aren't responsible for delays caused by things outside our control, including weather, supplier shortages, government offices and inspections.
If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (626) 412-8694 as early as you can. Your contract explains any costs for cancelling after materials have been ordered or work has started. Any right you have under California law to cancel a signed contract still applies.
Payment
Your written contract sets out the price, the payment schedule, any deposit and the payment methods we accept. Payments are due on the dates or at the stages the contract names.
If a payment is late, we may pause the work until the account is current, as the contract allows. You're responsible for reasonable costs we incur to collect an unpaid balance, to the extent California law allows.
Warranties and disclaimers
We're licensed and fully insured, and we stand behind our work. Our satisfaction guarantee and any workmanship warranty for your job are set out in your written contract, and those written terms are the full extent of them.
Windows, panels, roofing, doors and other products we install often carry the maker's own warranty. Those warranties come from the maker, not from us, and following the maker's care instructions is usually a condition of keeping them in force.
This website and everything on it are provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and current, but we don't promise that it's free of errors, always available or suited to your particular project. Except as stated in your contract or required by law, we make no other warranties, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the extent California law allows, West Covina Sunrooms & Patios isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of this website, including lost data, lost income or decisions you make based on its content.
For work we perform, our liability is limited to what your contract and the law provide. Nothing on this page limits a right you have under California law that can't be waived.
Resolving disputes
If something isn't right, call us or reach us through our Contact page first. Most problems get settled quickly once we're both looking at the same thing, so we ask that you give us a fair chance to fix it before taking other steps.
If we can't settle it between us, we'll both consider mediation before going to court. Any lawsuit will be filed in the courts of Los Angeles County, California, unless your contract says otherwise. Either of us may use small claims court for a claim within its limits.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute about this website or our services, are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is the one in effect, and using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Changes to this page don't alter a contract you've already signed with us.
Questions about these terms
If anything here is unclear, call us at (626) 412-8694 or send a message through our Contact page. We're available Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 10 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 10 PM.
